We don't eat breakfast, so we don't have a say. The location is ideal for a lunch or dinner outing downtown. The bed is very comfortable and we liked the size of the TV.
With regard to sustainability, there is room for improvement. The toilet paper used (white colour) comes from primary forests, so its consumption causes a strong environmental impact producing a significant deforestation (according to Greenpeace) and therefore contributing to global climate change. There is recycled toilet paper coming from the cardboard part of tetrabrik packaging, for example (Ecolucart brand) or other similar ones. I am also left wondering whether the plastic shampoo and gel bottles are disposable (the safest "throwaway") or are reused by filling them up again when they are empty. In any case, these rigid plastic bottles are already of greater residual impact to the planet than, for example, anchored shampoo or gel dispensers, where the hotel could supply these products in bulk. In addition, they would make costs cheaper. And with good pro-ecological advertising, they would be even more profitable, since "green sells". The aim is to avoid as much as possible any waste and useless, single-use plastic packaging. The planet needs it, we need it. Thank you!

The hotel is located in the heart of a charming town, surrounded by the picturesque rice fields of the Delta. It offers easy access to both Barcelona and Amposta. The rooms are spacious and clean, with well-maintained bathrooms and comfortable beds. The staff is friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. The breakfast offers a good variety of products to choose from. The hotel also has a modern bar attached to reception, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring.
The only downside was the lack of high-quality cheese options at breakfast.

The Explore familiar room at Hotel Montsia was perfect for us! It felt like we had our own little apartment with two connected twin rooms. Having a bathroom in each room was a game-changer, especially when traveling with kids. It provided us with the privacy and comfort we needed as a family.
One thing I didn't particularly enjoy about the Explore familiar room was the lack of a mini-fridge. It would have been nice to have a place to keep drinks and snacks chilled.

We recently stayed at a hotel in the center of Amposta and had a great experience. the location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the nearby Ebro Delta. the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided valuable recommendations. We especially loved the bakery next door where we enjoyed delicious breakfasts. the room was basic but clean and comfortable, exceeding our expectations for a 2-star hotel.
It was a fantastic stay at a reasonable cost. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like 😊.
